Default All you guitar players!

Guitar related thread. All you guitar players out there, post your gear, pics, vids of you doing covers / originals. I'll get the ball rolling here. I'm 18 and have been playing guitar for 9 years now, currently I own:

- ESP LTD H-401FM (See thru blue) (Bought 6-1-2011)
- Epiphone G400 SG, (Alpine white) (Bought 9-1-2010)
- Fender (Mexican) Stratocaster (Bought 28-12-2008)

Amps and effects

- Marshall JCM-900 Reissue 100w head + 4x12 MG412A cab
- Zoom G2.1u Multi-effects

I don't have many pictures besides ones of my ESP so here you go:

And here's all 3 together

I apologise if there has already been a thread for this sort of stuff. But anyway post away guys show me what you're running

I don't own or play guitars ... but one of my work mates plays gigs between shifts here and has done for quote a while.

He recently picked up a mint Ibanez GB10 George Benson ... such a nice instrument. I cracked the camera out and took a few pics of it for him.

Sadly, I am not the musical one. These are the love of our mighty leader Russell (russellw) however he has been teaching me how to look after them and I restring for him.

The Orange ones were custom made for him by Maton and are in Ford Blood Orange! The Gold one in the front right, is one of only 9 ever made (a full gold guitar - not just a gold top) and these 9 were gifted to world famous guitarists. Russell was luckily able to buy one at some point. These are mainly guitars from the 70's. Some very special and rare ones here.

Cheers

Wow ... that's amazing.
Should get one of the photogs on here to shoot that collection.
I can appreciate the instrument itself as a piece of art when looking at it upclose.

As for playing ... I can't to save my life. But enjoy watching someone play them ... properly.

Russ has good photos here (Insurance purposes) so have asked him to post them up later today as we are watching the V8s now and they are on his hard drive upstairs. They are so beautiful - bit of a talking point for house guests when they come up the stairs and see them!

Understandable.
My brother in law has a polished hardwood timber wall hanging rack with guitars on them ... looked really nice.

I have a few in the office:

and my two main ones:

Ibanez BTB405QMBBL model, quilted maple top, 5 piece neck and I have upgraded the pickups to Bartolini ones that work with the 3 band EQ. Love this thing, best guitar I've ever owned.

On the left, Ibanez BTB300FBL in Flat Black, again a 5 piece neck and Bartolinis. That's an old picture, probably time for a new one.

Later this year I hope to add a MIM Fender Jazz Bass in lake Placid Blue to the collection.

Unless your spine cries foul within the first 2 mins of picking up a guitar, it's not a real guitar.

At work so cant post photos but I own a Epiphone SG g400 Cherry Red, it's been great guitar but I have had it for about 5 years now and I think it's time for an upgrade (aswell as a new amp).

Thinking between an Ibanez S series and Jackson DKMG. Thoughts?

I've got a 2003 Fender American Series Telecaster in Sunburst. It's been a great guitar for the eight years that I've owned it; it's a dream to play (even compared to other American Fenders I've tried out) and sounds pretty great too. The pickups in it are stock, but I don't really have a reason to replace them.

The only effect I use is a Dunlop Cry Baby, and I plug into a Marshall JVM Combo. They don't seem to have the greatest reputation around the internet, but I am certainly satisfied with mine. It's certainly a huge step above the Fender Hot Rod Devilles they have at my old school.

Definatley an S series.. what's your budget? The DK's don't provide as much value for money, but I can't really give you any reccomendations unless I know how much you want to spend Not to mention the S-series Ibanezs look great, very very thin and comfortable light guitars to play.

Will have to get some photos as I don't have anything on my computer.
I've only just started playing and trying to teach myself at the moment.

My first guitar was an ESP LTD EC-50 which I have sold now.

I currently have a Takamine EG440C steel 6 string acoustic electric which I love.
My second love which I only got recently after heaps of searching was a Ibanez SAS32ex electric.

Nothing like the calibre of some of the guitars pictures here but I love them and would love to play them more and learn more..

I haven't played it in a long time because I moved out with my girlfriend and this stayed at my mums. I have a Vox AC30 but it was stolen in 2008.

Resurrected an old thread as I bought myself a new present today:

http://basscentre.com.au/uploadedFil...65796-2027.jpg

Looking forward to getting this one, a bit of a christmas present to myself. This one will go alongside the 2x BTB's I have (see above) and I also have a Musicman Stingray Bass as well

Next on the list is an Ampeg PF500 with a 210 cab to go underneath it.
