XR8 Ute, zero to 100 slower than the time it takes you to do a search and see that this topic has been covered at least 100 times before.

I can just get under 7 to 60mph on old gtech so around 7 secs to 100kmh.

Its an interesting measure but time to distance is more generally useful and its what you see when you drive on the road or track how far ahead or behind you are not so much the closing speeds.

0-100kph in about 7 seconds flat - rough estimate. I don't trust those G-tech times at all.

Why not, as long as its reading the correct speed all it needs to be it a stopswatch that starts when you take-off and stops when the speed hits 100, dont see how it could be that inaccurate.
Are you saying your "rought estimate" method would be more accurate than a G-tech meter?

Dazzler, you will be an expert before you know it, to post a video, do this.

1. Sign up at youtube youtube signup

2. Once you have logged in, select 'my account', then the 'Upload new video' button, fill in the details and upload your video, it may take a while for it to be cleared.

3. Copy and paste the 'Public URL' link and post it where you want.

EASY.

I've seen some inaccurate times with a g-tech and because of that I don't entirely trust it. A guy with VP V8 did 0-100 in "6 seconds flat" according to the g-tech. His car was nearly stock except for a tune and cold air intake. The same guy has a VN V6 and that did 0-100 in 6.95 seconds (also with the g-tech) with nothing more than a CAI. I'm not saying that those times are impossible but they seem a little far fetched. That's just my opinion though.
