Default Falcon Au window has come free of the window regulator

Hi guys, I recently fitted a brand new window regulator to my au falcon wagon and it seemed to work fine until today when the glass came loose of the regulator clips. looks like the glue which looks like silicone has come away from th window?? Does anyone know what to do know to reattach the window to the regulator? Also did I do something wrong or maybe I didnt do something i was supposed to do??thanks

They attach by sitting into white plastic clips. Sort of U-Shaped clips..
Just use sikaflex in those clips and re-attach by placing the glass into those clips..
Let it dry before using the window.

Buy 2 new clips beforehand, as they do wear over time.. I think they're around $3 per clip..

Hope that helps..!

I don't think you can buy them anywhere else.. You could call around and if you can't find them, then head to ford..

Cheers

As Kristo said, buy new clips. Your old clips will be stretched, and covered in sikaflex. Also would be a good idea to lube the window rubbers too, some people say use silicone spray, some say use graphite powder. The windows tend to stick to the rubbers, which can cause the window to pull out of the clips like yours has.

I personally use silicone spray, and do it regularly, and it's been working well for me.
