I have premium sound in my XR and the other day it stopped reading disks and it would swap back and forwards from CD to tuner i disconected the battery and now it says there is no disks in there but in fact there is 5 i went to ford they say they send it away and get a replacement just wondering wat your ideas are or wat i can do

Hi
You do need a replacement or repair, basically once your radio starts swapping from cd to radio that means your cd mechanism is faulty. You can send it to us direclty for repair or you can go thru a ford dealership where they can arrange a changeover unit. If you come to us directly the cost is $270.00 all inc with 6 months warranty unlimitted kms. Cheers fadi75

what would be involved im in albury how would you do it i wouldnt have a clue how to take it out and it has 5 discs in it too ford quoted me 280 direct swap through you guys need to do something soon im sick of the radio lol
