Why is it only ebay that shite's you when you have it advertised elsewhere?

Anyway, something like that is only useful to 2 people:
1. Someone who has an XC and wants a cracked grille with non-original lights in it
2. Someone else who wants it to put on their BA Fairmont, just to be different.

mate dont worry about the lights or the fact that has two small crack's it a gs grill and they are supposed to be hard too get hold of the fact that it has been there for a fortnight without a bid is what annoy's me considering there was another up there with 18 bid's on it and it sold for over $280 so where does that leave my grill in the rubbish bin as far as the small crack's go you can't even notice them that's why ebay shites me

Just some advice, next time list it differently. Instead of

" xc gs twin light grill grill in fair condition "

Try

" FORD XC GS Twin light Grille, grill, Falcon, GT, GXL, 351, 302 "

You will get alot more hits and potential buyers that way because more people will see it searching for other stuff.

That sh!ts me when sellers do that. If I'm searching for "GT" parts and something that is not even slightly resembling a GT part comes up I usually send the seller an email thanking them for wasting my time and hope they only get $2 for their crappy part.

Shits me too ... but thats the way of ebay. He's trying to sell something, not make friends. The more people that see it the better.

I don't have a BA, but if it will fit on my AU I might consider it to be original!

I thought your listing was ok Bob. Putting GXL and Cobra/GT etc shits some people so I wouldnt do it but it works for some. Its just luck of the draw. Also, never call it quits untill the very end. A lot of buyers use Hammer Snipe or such like and you can get huge bids come in in the last 7 seconds.

I would buy it but I already have a good grill and no car to put it in.

Just try again.

mate start bids at 99cents....you get alot more people that way and the bids keep going till someone hits their target... just imagine seeing $150 oh thats a bit much or seeing 15 bids between 5 people...obviously gonna change someones mind.

also make it look mint, clean the thing, polish it up or whatever....1hrs work may save you one more relisting

Agreed. Starting your stuff at $0.99 means that you will get the best price anyone is willing to pay, people might not want to pay $150 unless they were driven up to that price or well above it by the sense of competition.

However, there is a bit of a gamble as you may end up getting much less than your desired $150 for it. You can always have the "I reserve the right to withdraw from auction" stipulation but unfortunately you cannot cancel the auction when there are less than 24 hours to the end and there are bids. And the final 24 hours, particularly the final few minutes, are when the majority of the bidding happens.

When I sold some of my old crap on eBay a couple of months ago, (game boy, cd walkman, etc.) I started all the auctions at $0.99, 2 of 4 items went for more than I expected, 1 went for what I expected, and 1 went for about half of what I expected. So yes it is a gamble.

You provided lots of pictures which is good but try fixing up the grammar in your title and description a bit too, good luck! :
