Default Car wont start

Good evening all. My 2006 LS Zetec will not start. The engine immobiliser light keeps flashing. Is there anyway around this as it just happened out of the blue. Strange that it should happen now!

LS/LT? Check the fuel trip button. Red button in the drivers footwell on the right in a hole.
