Default Mechanics in West Melbourne 'burbs...

Just a quick one, can anybody recommend a good mechanic in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne - we don't want to deal with the last mechanic we dealt with, and seeing as I can't get the Mk I Escort running nicely (thread here: http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=10052 ) I think it's time to take it to a mechanic, who will probably have it running nicely in less then 15 minutes and charge me $250 for it, lol.

Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking maybe we take it to the old school mechanic I used to take my car to, they never failed me and never ripped me either. They diagnose first and don't charge to look. One of those rare little garages where they come out and check your oil and clean you windscreen for you.

Hopefully they haven't been run out of town by the giants that seem to be popping up everywhere around here. :(

Failing that... Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!!!
He loves the little English cars. ;)

Ahh, cool, thanks for that, I'd forgot about that place.

Anybody else got any suggestions?
