Any one know if a 1.5 litre motor from an 81 manual laser will fit into an 85 kc auto that had a 1.6 litre? How much trouble would it be

so you are going backwards a 1985 engine to a 1981 engine into a 1985 car
thats a tough question pm vippen he knows a lot about lasers Find out if there is any problems fitting the clutch and gearbox front drive shaft bush into the crankshaft of the automatic engines crankshaft thats all I can think of and replace the rear engine seal on the way back in

yes it will fit however its not worth it at all, e series engines are horrible, find another engine for the kc the b6 carb is only worth 200ish ive got 2 here for sale lol

thanks. I realise that its not the ultimate combination but my girlfriend just smashed the front of her 81 and a mate has the kc with dead motor so we thought we'd look into it.
