Default MK1 ESCORT for SALE

Hey guys, girls. I am unfortunately selling my beloved mk1 1973 2 door ford escort. It has been well looked after and overall is a clean car. The engine was rebuilt about 3000k’s ago. It has had all new bearings, seals/gaskets put in. I have been told the engine is probably one of the best original escort engines left in Australia. It is still running original standard crank, cam gear, piston bore, and came factory standard with mahle pistons. I believe it is probably out of an RS2000. It has a lightened flywheel and genie extractors. The escort is also running a 2ltr radiator to keep it nice and cool . The car has the standard 4speed manual and running the 3.54 diff to match up nicely to the 2ltr. It is also running Twincam front struts with the twincam discs as well as MK2 drums in the rear. The Twincam struts I believe are worth $300 a side alone.

$2850

Oh... in one of the pics... the passenger door is slightly open...

Hi craig, the body is good... minimal rust... just surface in a few places... nothing a wire brush on the end of a drill couldn't fix... nothing major or can be seen on the outer body... Its a clean car...
