From news reports it was one of his favorites sports car's
Well if anything it'll put NASA's (range) Rover in its place while it goes for its cruise thru space
Wonder how many services it missed ever 15000ks and how's the warranty going

A shame the main booster (core) didnt and was ditched... but the two that did land will never cease to amaze me.

The reports say the car is off course and heading for an asteroid belt. It's said that even if the car makes it through the belt, the level of radiation will eventually disintegrate the car within a year.

Yeah that's true. Space junk causes a lot more problems that I ever thought. Apparently if we don't do something about it soon it could cause major issues in future space missions.

Can't say I was originally a fan, but he and his endeavours are growing on me.

However it's sad that it's taken one guy with a vision and willing to back with $$$ to get us back to the 1960s ..

Also sad that average person cares naught for any of the space-faring events that happen around us (eg. ISS anyone?), but when Elon does a Von Braun, it's all over the news.

For us older folk who can remember what events stopped everyday life back in 1969, there are two generations since then, and for them, anything that happened before they were born, didn't happen.
So the excitement of the moon landings, (which most of those generations think were faked) is being replayed in their time and world.
