A couple of standouts from cars and coffee yesterday arvo.

Laser TX3 Turbo

ED Falcon was spotlessly clean.

And at the tarmac sprint today, something I never thought I'd see with my own eyes, Ford RS200 Group B monster.

I'd love one of those AWD TX3 Turbos, the sedan version though.

They're rare as rocking horse shit these days, especially a standard example.

In fact that car impress me alot but for 2 things, wish it was AWD, in sports mode it rides like a dog on rough surfaces but handles on rails.
Thats because you drive a KUN26R Hilux, cause there's certainly throttle lag and it doesn't ride rough at all in sports mode or with its suspension setting put to its firmest

Could just be what we're all used to, coming from Ford Europe stuff into the Koreans is a bit of a shock how lackluster the basic functionality of their cars are.

I reckon if it was remapped it would probably disappear completely, we've got a few of us whinging about it in this thread so its certainly a Hyundai 'feature'.

Spotted an immaculate VX Commodore SS sedan in Red Hot this morning. I once despised them, but for some reason I can now see the appeal.

I'm not a fan of the VT/VX, except for the Monaro.

Sort of looks a bit weird in an early 2000s American kinda bubble way, its like a bridge between the 1980s/1990s hybrid styling of the VR/VS designed with a 15cm ruler and crayon, and the VY/VZ with their more sleek looks.

Man, a few years back i got a job that was a favour from my boss for his mates italian parents. So electrical work, i was given instruction to turn a blind eye to the dodgey existing electricals in their house, but do what i do on my work, which is always above and beyond. Anyhows, front yard was a rose garden, well kept. Backyard, pretty much a self sufficient market garden. Garage, mint red vx SS. Low kays, main reason was it was a manual. So washed weekly then garaged, hardly driven as manual.

hehe the hipox doesn't falter by the way, better than the later gens thats for sure.
My other son has a 2018 i30 auto, both have NO lag whatsoever I know from experience.
and I'll repeat the i30N coupe rides like a dog on rough roads imo in sport and +.
Having had countless lowered Falcs, riding on 20's with low profiles, euros and a euro daily the i30N in sport+ is rough and I'm a luver of handling low riding rides excl the hipox.
Sure depends what your used to a degree.
Obviously your lag will be mapped out, get it done enjoy no lag like other hyundai owners as posted by another in the thread,

Went to the local industrial estate cafe for smoko around the corner from work to this morning,

As I'm about to get out the car, there's a mint condition EL Falcon in that burgandy colour reversing into the car park.

So I hang back and have a chat to the owner.

Rolling on custom made deep dish silver snowflakes with a chrome rim, aside from the wheels the car looked factory.

Looked under the rear - been converted to IRS.

Owner has 6 EL Falcons, all highly modified, was an 80 year old bloke who does caravan transport between Melbourne and Sydney so he's in Campbellfield regularly.

Him and his son built the cars.

Saw dead stock FG F6 sedan in mint condition in white on the way home

The stuff you see around Campbellfield is nuts, there's a whole heap of AUDM cars getting around, saw new Camaro too.

This ute was in seriously unbelievable condition.

It looked like it was on its first drive out.

Zoom in.

I have a BA XR8 ute in same colour and I was so jealous of the paint. And headlights. And....etc.

Went up to take a pic, turns out its a Lowndesy model.

Knew a bloke who traded + a bit of cash for a turned up tx3. Dunno who got the better deal to be honest. He traded his xf which was half caged, mini tubbed, 351 and a toplaoder for the tx3. To be fair his xf was a bit much for street duties as lumpy cam etc. The tx3, well it did the traction thing and made 90s turbo noises.

Saw a Mazda Cosmo on the freeway on Monday morning took a while before the brain cells kicked in and remembered the name as even in its day it wasn't common.

I had that same van for a company car back in the day, used to give it a right royal flogging handled that easy.

We saw a very neat one tonight parked up at a set of shops.
Even driving past at 60kmh with the sun gone you could tell it was a clean one.
