Hmm all this ironic death, its totally rooted.

Lets hope it ends in a good way, like Ian Thorpe drowning perhaps? ;)

I can't believe it, Brocky's gone!!! He's one of those people you thought would always be around. It's sad news indeed.

RIP Brocky, thanks for everything you've done for Motorsport.

They say things happen in 3's.

This is totally unexpected. I'm still lost for words. Growing up PB was my hero. When i switched from holden to fords, I couldn't bring myself to follow anyone else. So i stopped following it. Now he's gone, it's so hard to believe.
I can't believe it and I don't want to believe it.

He is an icon in the sport. He's acheived so much. You can never replace him. It's a sad day indeed.

The week has been fairly ordinary to say the least.

Bathurst this year will be a massive event. I wonder if they will scatter his ashes ove the mountain. It's the place he loved the most and the place he loved to be.

RIP Peter. You will be missed.

Another Great Man has died & it just shows that life is so fragile & can be taken away at any time.

I remember watching him race from the LJ Torana days right through his wonderful career.

We are poorer for the loss of him & condolences to his Family.

Come on...I can think of a few I would prefer to snuff it...

Nikki Webster (please please please)
Maria Venuti
Nicole Kidman
Germaine Greer
The cast of Neighbours and Home and Away
All participants of Big Brother and Australian Idol

Ian Thorpe doesn't suck his *****. Nikki Webster does it to herself all the time.

Australian motoracing has lost an absolute legend today.
No matter what your brand loyalty is, Peter Brock was admired by all.

Its interesting you say he was rude, in all the times that i met him, with my father and sisters he was always polite and did what he could for you and those around him, a much better people person than the racing personalities of today. Always had time for the fans, lowndes comes close to his stature with fans, but brock will always be ahead

This may be stupid, but I was wondering if someone could make a sign that we could all print out and stick on the inside of the rear windows in our cars as a tribute to Brock?
