Buzz Aldren as taken by Neil Armstrong July 1969.

It's a pretty famous shot and took a fair bit to get this to suit my 1280x1024 desktop, as the original from the Apollo missions website was 1350x1350, but managed it without losing aspect ratio. However, it was worth the effort as I'm very into the Mercury & Saturn period of the US space program.

I used to have one of those moonwalking shots on my bedroom wall. It was half the size of the door.

Here is my desktop, which shows a Bell 212 (twin engine version of the Huey) helicopter at the snow. I liked the shot so much I "extended" it to fit my wide screen (you see how it mirrors on the sides).

My retro desktop. Internet Explorer 5.01 will crash on most sites with anything a bit too complicated, i.e. small animated GIFs, and forget Flash animations.

Boots up quick though!

Mine is the view from the top paddock on my property. Believe it or not I actually took it in December.

Thanks mate, only a few weeks later and it isn't that green any more, LOL.
This is with a toy parked on top and looking out the other way. And then in the bottom paddock :-)
