hey guys, new to the forum, got a couple of fords on the go at the moment, first is my xf ute, wich is soon to have an xe front with a worked x flow,
pics ok thats enough for the ute, secondly is a 302 zk fairlane, i have just finished a bare metal respray, these pics are from a few months ago. its had alot of detail work since, such as better chrome, and a new grill which is the factory grey one but in mint condition, i picked this thing up for 800 bucks and it owes me around 4 grand on the road with 12 months rego, all the paint and panel was done by myself at home. enjoy im hoping to meet some good people on here and just have fun, and will mention that all the work on my ute was also done by myself other that machine work. i havent touched the paint though, its 620 000 old and still looks ok, might paint it once the driveline is all sorted. |

Hi all im a new member. I live in the territory and im on my P's so there is no power restrictions i got rid of my holden rodeo a few months ago and i have upgraded to a ba xr8 ute which i got at the right price stock as a rock.
So far the mods i have done are ceramic coated extractors, high flow cats and a mild steel cat back. Also have a helix spacer, cold air induction, oil catchers and an sct tune box. All parts are herrod performance and it was dyno tuned at peckeys and pulled 240.2 rwkw. Id like to thank Bob O'brien from car concepts for looking after me with the build so far, it wouldnt have happened without him. Its going for a respray in 2 months when im out of town and dont need the car for a few weeks. Not bad for a first year apprentice diesel fitter at 18. Love the website you will hear more from me soon. Cheers all |

Hi All, My name is Richard. I have lived in the north of Thailand for the past 5 years. Just bought an XW Falcon 500, assembled over here. I never knew they sent them to Thai as I have never seen another XW or XY here before.
Car is in great shape, new paint/trim etc but as they do here it has been fitted with some crap nissan 6 cylinder. Thinking about putting in a Lexus V8 as there is no V8 cleve motors here at all. Getting all the bits I need from Aus. Had a few 70's fords years ago when I was living in Aus. |

G'day people, Shanes the name, I'll be honest straight off the bat I'm a Holden nut and have a few older Monaro coupes and a 06 caprice and have never owned a ford but I still almost break my neck for a better look if a nice XA/XC coupe drives past and I'd love to park a Windsor powered xp coupe next to my monaros one day.
Anyway looks like a pretty decent forum use have here. Cheers Shane |

Hi guys, im Jason. I am currently driving a 92 NC Fairlane with a 302 Windsor.
Its ment to be a project car that i can one day be proud of at power cruise or even at Wednesday night drags at Eastern Creek Sydney. But for now its my very expensive commute for my 150k round trip for work. It makes the 2hrs to work very enjoyable =D Last edited by ginjaninja; 13-03-2012 at 09:48 PM. Reason: upload failed |

G'day, I have been registered as a member for quite some time, but this is my first posting.
I keep looking at the Fairlane and LTD pages mainly 'cos I have a '77 LTD Silver Monarch that I just absolutely love. I first bought it in 1985, sold it in 1995 and bought it back a few years ago from the guy I sold it to. I'll try to add a photo if I can. I also have 1960 Ranch wagon that I drive now and again and a one owner (before me) XW sedan that is slowly being turned into an XY GT, mainly because the original owner already had it looking like an XY anyway.... Cheers Ray? PS I don't seem to be able to reduce the size of my photos to make them fit here, anyone help? PPS is there a club related to the ZH/P5/P6 etc located in melb. if anyone knows I would be grateful for info on that. Thanks Ray |

Hi Ray,
There are a few ways to upload photos onto the site. The easiest way most people find, is to open a Photobucket account (it's free to register) and then upload your photos and copy the IMG code to your post. Here is a link that explains how to do it http://fordforums.com.au/tutorials/H...0post_demo.htm Or you can open your image in Paint, press CTR+W and resize it and then upload it directly via attachments in the UserCP. As for car clubs in Melbourne, sorry - can't help you with that one. Cheers Col

Hey guys. New to the forum and new to owning a vehicle (first car) I've got a 2005 Territory in silver with a sexy stereo.
The whole reason I wanted a Territory is because I was moving from Melbourne to Cairns and I needed a car to fit all my stuff in. So far it's been a great decision. Although one of the metal hinges the holds the boot together has siezed and snapped, thus I cannot open the boot :( But, I still love it, it gets a wash and wax once a week and being a P plater I make my parents look rich. I hope people on here would be able to help guide me in the right path on this forum when it comes to questions regarding my Territory because I have no freakin' clue on what limits it has. I'm still finding storage compartments.. |

Hi Guys (or shall I say G/day Mates)
My name is Danie and I live in Gauteng, South Africa Thank you for letting me come onto your forum....much appreciated Have been restoring old cars for the past 40 years and still enjoy fiddling whenever I get a chance Some time last year I finished my last project which is a 72 XY Ranchero UTE. This was my first V8 project and I enjoyed every minute of the three years I have spend to restore it. Problem with me, I never know when to stop spending on these projects and I then end up overspending to such an extend that I will never get all the money back, which went into the end result. I am sure a lot of my co-restorers out there will agree. Early into the XY's restoration I discovered GT Ford Performance in Victoria and needless to say they could supply me all the parts I needed to finish the Ranchero. Apart from the Ranchero I also have a 1960 Ford Prefect, which also took three years to restore. My dear wife dubbed her “Miss Perfect” and waited patiently weekends for me to close the garage door. I am going to try and post some pictures and hope I get it right. Perhaps one of you out there could give me an idea what the Ranchero would sell for your part of the world. Cheers Danie Last edited by Danie Bosman; 14-03-2012 at 07:59 PM. |
