Sorry guys been busy and still am at the moment buying a new truck and organising change of contractor/operator with the company.
If you have any questions please just ask away and I wil answer or see to them as soon as I can, thanks. Other than that though everything else is as before for the 25th of this month, not long now. I'll put up a map soon or you can go to www.whereis.com.au and just plug the stops into that and it will show you the route plus approximate times of travel. Please guys keep in mind that this is the first ever F6 Owners cruise and as such I wol dlike to keep it just to F6s, whether they be Typhon, Tornado or X. On later cruises we will open it up to XR6 turbos as well as others but for this one I'd really like to keep it strictly F6. Thanks folks Stef

Just confirming, all my boys are coming so there is a total of 6 from us. And yet Goce and Michael is to be added to the list
Oh well, the Hole Dones have done it, still enjoyed watching it though.... Was wondering, if it rains does it get cancelled? Just lets hope it holds up on this one as melbourne's weather hasn't been promising lately...

Why would we cancel if it rains? they are only FPVs, a few rain drops wont hurt them!
I've got work off and will def be in town for the weekend so am set for the cruise. Its good going to a cruise now and then, as it forces you to spend that bit extra time maintaining (or fixing) all the little things on your car! Its a great reminder to get her running perfect (not that i don't usually) for the event. i will be getting new brake pads as long as time permits!

Hi guys / gals
New to scene but bought a FG F6 /auto. Only done 2600klm & still learning this turbo / 2 stroke power band as only ever had Windsors or Lumpy 6's. Took it out to Mallalla for FPV free day & had a blast. How many k's u reckon b4 1st oil change ? Dealer says 7500 so as to bed in motor but seems like too many. I am thinking about 2500 is enuf ? |

Gday champ, mate the oil changes can be different depending on what oil you use, the first oil change I'd probly do no later than 5000 to be honest as it's run in oil so shouldn't be run too long.
After that use a good synthetic oil and change every 10,000 at the latest but most guys tend to change at 5,000 with a filter change every 10,000. You can of course change your filter with every oil change but as long as you keep a good oil replacement interval like 5K then you can run your filter a second time round, but that's your call. In future though any questions should really be asked in the Turbo Forum, if you do some research you may actually find threads dedicated to whatever it is your needing an answer to. How you finding your F6 so far??

Just a quick by the by, NFORCD asked about Force 6s, well they are essentially an F6 (luxo liner : ) so they are more than welcome to join in both the cruise as well as joining the club if they would like to.
As for the weather well I heard it's looking good for this weekend so hopefully that's a sign of more good weather to come. edit : just looked over the list again and ye 17 F6s all in a row, now that would be something else, I think we may have to stop for a pic or 10 at the lake in Daylesford. Also on that could people just check the list to make sure that they and anyone else coming along are on the list, drivers only, and if not pm Spoolman to update the list. Looking like a good one. :

Well in post #96 there is yet to be another 2 more drivers added to the list.
Also another 1 Force 6 and another F6 could be added as these boys are from me which makes a total of 21.

Now that's an even more impressive number, we can almost have our own race days at Heathcote, actually this is only from Victoria so far, can't wait till the other states pick this up.
Speaking of which if any F6/Force6 owners from the other states would like to start up a state chapter by all means shoot me through a pm letting me know you're keen to get things going. edit : have been asked about passengers, that's entirely up to yourselves, but as I've stated in an earlier post some of the roads aren't conducive to passengers, especially if they're always telling you to slow down around the corners.

Thanx mate I've had the car for 5 mths & only done 2600 k. It spends most of it's time in my shed. The F6 is a bit like a riding a mates dirt bike ( 2 stroke ). I'm coming to terms with the turbo instincts of the beast & loving it ! Feeding it gently thru the corners in the hills is interesting though. The car is build 103. I don't know whether there is any interest in an F6 /XR6 turbo club in Adelaide. The injectors are fairly noisy. Have you been aware of this ? Cheers Blem |

I think you might be sick that day, denghi fever, I can see it now, or is it yellow fever, just tell em you got a fever, it's the great Aussie way mate you know you'll kick yourself if you don't come
Also folks, if you have a 2 way hand held radio don't forget to bring that along with you, or if you have more than one bring that too in case someone doesn't. If you don't then might I suggest you get yourself one from somewhere like Tandy or Dick Smith, they really do come in handy and make for a little more enjoyment on cruises.

Yes mate, it's an F6 only cruise, but you're welcome to jump in with someone if they'll have you.
As it's the first cruise I want to keep it F6 only and I think most others want to keep it that way too, future cruises however will be open but we will still occasionally have F6 only events.

Also for anyone that hasn't read the whole thread, the meeting point is at the BP out bound on the Calder Fwy just past Calder Park scamway erm raceway at 8:30.
We will be leaving at 8:45 no exceptions so if you can't make that time let us know earlier and maybe meet us down the line somewhere, we will be making a stop at Kyneton at the Jubilee Lake Reserve for some pics so this could be where you could catch us up. So 8:30 people, set it on your phone alarm clock to count down.

Yes sir, correct, the departure time is the only concrete one really the rest are approximations off of whereis.com but I rekn we should get to Apollo Bay by around that time, maybe sooner if Chris doesn't need to stop for fuel too often

Sincerely doubt I will be there, even if I did not have to go to work, I most likely will not have my F6, as it is sitting at the dealer whilst they try to work out how to fix the climate control. Have fun all. I will have to wait to the next one.
