what a great thread! pure genius

about the movie, great to see they're going back to the original formula, and the old actors back. Always been a fan of FNF so a new one is good to see.

But one cant help but notice that they're running out of ideas?? Milk the cow till its dry eh..

fair enough, but i dont think i would bother for either for drifting - too expensive.. i'd go for the Sr20 (depending on car) over the RB25 as its lighter, cheaper to replace parts etc.

My drift car if i ever got one would be an Ae86 sprinter(i just love em) with a 4age in it and keep it NA fun

Momentum keeps it spinning.. Downside to this is it will need to be push started at around 100km/ph.

I'm so sick of everyone buying Hachi-Roku's and drifting them

Every car at a drift event is either a Hachirolla or a Silvia it's getting real boring. I like seeing unique cars especially the V8 drifters.

I would personally use a FC for drifting.

After reviewing the footage I believe that the ultra-high performance enginge created so much exhaust heat that the nyloc nuts holding the floor up melted and the subsequent vibration resulted in the floor falling through.

Being that the Eclipse was a monocoque body this was clearly an after market modification.

i already picked a fault in the movie. - when vin hits the side of the tanker only 1 trailer detaches leaving 2 trailers still attached to the truck. when the truck rolls off the cliff it has only 1 trailer still attached to it. where did the other trailer go?

i think i will claim this one if nobody has already noticed that fault.

Well done SickEB.. I also noticed when the driver jumps out looks like they in a canyon then all of a sudden the truck flys off a cliff..

I can't wait..

Has anyone ever actually tested out how fast a car car go in reverse.. My guess would be 40kmhr.. Truck is prob doing 80-100.. Bit like the evo vs spyder scene in 2F2F.

Cheers,
Nik

Thats insane!!

I have a mate who is convinced he is going to put a BOSS V8 in his Holden Barina.........

He didn't comprehend the issues of engine clearance and lack of a FWD gearbox for the BOSS V8

depending on the car, but i would have thought reverse gear would be the same ratio as first. (in a manual).

so whilst im not saying a EF auto can do 89km/h in reverse, i think im about right with my assumption.

never seen that, i wouldnt know why you would bother - its a 850kg car. a 150kg+ V8 in the front is going to completely ruin the handling..

I have seen Ae86's with 1JZ twin turbo supra motors though :P

actually ive seen an E30 318 with the 1jz in it. would be a scary car to drive lol

You can get some pretty light-weight V8's. A good OHV V8 can weigh less than a DOHC six

some of you people need to learn how to relax and just enjoy something for entertainment value, rather than expecting it to be a documentary..

The first one was a pretty unique movie, and will probably remain the best, but it's good to see the original cast back for the next one, as i said earlier. Should make for a better movie than #3.

Absolutely.

When I play Need For Speed games, i'm not expecting the cars to react like the ones in GranTurismo or Forza Motorsport games.

If you're talking about 'Zoey 101' with Britney's little sister, the 3 episodes taht Brian Tee (DK) appeared in were produced at the same time as Tokyo Drift.
