Well I have one anecdote to help with the conspiracy. Many may have heard of the "Philadelphia Experiment" which was an attempt to use some of properties of Einsteins unified field theory.

I read quite a bit on this back when I was at Uni and while some of the maths is fairly daunting I did look at some of the proofs fairly closely.
One was the "anti gravity" property of cyclic high voltage fields when applied to a bell or saucer shaped disk.
A place where I was working a couple of years later had an EHV cage that was used for, well other things, and one day when all the bosses were away a couple of others and I decided to replicate the experiment.
We made a disk out of aluminium, strung it from a bus on extremely fine wire and wound up the voltage.

At around 200,000v the disk started to spin and then move about.
At 275,000v it jumped sideways and got too close to the cage, arced over and tripped the OCB which drew the crabs in a big way so we ran and hid.
The cage was locked when unattended after that so why the disk did the dance I will never know for sure as I was not able to replicate the stunt.

Did the disk disappear, like the USS Eldridge?

No, according to the theory that would require magnetic flux which is a result of current not potential.

Although bits of it probably did disappear when it arced.......

Forget area 51, the real scary stuff was written by Jon Ronson (http://www.jonronson.com/goats_04.html) back in 2004 titled "The Men Who Stare at Goats.

The scary part is that it's not fiction, although in parts it could be a comedy.

Is it a coincidence that stories of abductions and the incidence of grainy photos have reduced significantly since everyone now has a camera phone?

Anyone seen "Chariots of the Gods" Narrated by "Al" from Home Improvement??? (Richard Khan I think was his name??)

Big fan

Got tons of UFO books, big fan of Sci-Fi, Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, Star Wars / Trek, Project Blue Book, X-Files etc etc etc etc etc.

If Area 51 was indeed what the conspiracy theorists say it is, imagine if those walls could talk......

nazis experimented with discs
theres plenty of photos about etc

there was talk in the 'conspiracy' circles that a disc came down during the early parts of the war, they got hold of it and tried to back engineer it

which is what supposedly happened at roswell.....and out at aztec as well

Die Glocke...

America did have disc shaped aircraft in the works, including hover discs, but most were deemed unsuccessful.

Then they'd want more camo stripes on it than a test car, as 'Murrica ain't the only ones with spy satellites constantly watching military bases

Who knows what else America, Russia or Germany had been playing with, WWII cause rapid development of aircraft...and the need for secrecy was high.

Sounds like the "Nazi bell" (Die Glocke)...apparently it did take off, and fell back to earth in Kecksburg many years later...

Apparently was tested here....

There was this as well, Focke-Wulf Triebflügel... a bomber interceptor...

I watched a doco on the way to Melbourne about the luftwaffe stealth planes, damned interesting story.
The brothers who designed it were pulled of its build to concentrate on a much bigger one, because apparently the nazis were confident they would have their own atomic weapon by 1946, and had plans to use it on the USA. The war could have been very very different....

You can see this being done in the beginning of the James Bond film "Diamonds Are Forever"...it wasn't just made up for the movie, it was fact.

A military outpost dealing in highly secret research and development would have to have better security than this...

Because America were developing the F-117 program at Groom lake (Area 51)..

Given that this was during the cold war, and espionage was a concern, the last thing America needed was Russia knowing exactly what was happening there...

Its interesting how they found this Coso artifact near area 51 and now it has gone missing, also the relationship of American Indians and alien pictures. The strategic placing of area 51 is very interesting for its earth metals.

http://videopediaworld.com/video/904...-Coso-artifact

Watched a doco last night on Quantum physics, they are teleporting on the canary islands, they can actually send a particle 143km kms across to one of the other island.

I'm thinking the Coso Artifact may have been a hoax as it was identified as a Champion spark plug from the 1920's and the fossil surrounding the spark plug was actually hardened clay.

No wonder they can't find it...probably chucked in a bin with the rest of its credibility...

There was a documentary on Never never Land a few years ago by National Geographic. They interviewed some of the personal from the U2/Oxcart days, military personel, pilots & other staff. One bloke said," I just told my wife that I fix TVs. What was I going to say?" "Hey honey! Guess what? We got the radar cross section of a plane down to a gnats behind" -scoffs & laughs- "Yeah, right"

And he's right. Which would you tell your wife?

Here here. I've always been fascinated by these stories. Apparently there is meant to be one bulldozed over at the end of WWII near Mount Tarampa in QLD. So legend goes.....

I'm curious to find out what the attraction is to Area 51? I mean we will never know the full extent of what goes on there and it's not like you can just walk in there and ask for a guided tour. The fact that it is such a heavily guarded and mysterious place with so many rumours makes it an interesting place. We hear all these stories about what people believe is going on there and see alot of pics of alleged UFO sightings over the protected air space of Area 51 but at the end of the day it's all speculation. I myself would love to believe that they have actual UFO's and alien beings hidden there but all I can live off for now is hopes and dreams.
So many questions but no definate answers... Easily one of the most interesting places on Earth.
