1. Ford Cortina Mk 11 GT with 1600 Kent worked with side draft dcoe webbers x2 etc ex rally car -manual. Got this when the old man banned me from v8s, bought an ex rally racing motor and put it in as well. Faster than a lot of v8s, not Ford 5.8s though. Totalled when perving on a blond bending over in front garden and not looking at road when crossing intersection-was young
![]() 2. Ford Cortina TE 4.1 with alloy head, Holley, high compression, waggot cam etc-manual. Faster than standard Ford 5.8 clevelands -not the worked ones....Died from old age and grotesque abuse over lengthy period- lots of high speed driving in Northern Territory when roads were unrestricted. 3. Ford Festiva 1.3 manual- wifes but used as family car for too long-discarded after a long but boring life and I was rather annoyed I could not kill it despite my best efforts. 4. Toyota camry v6 1999- manual- totaled by my daughter after sliding on wet corner and then being T boned by 4wd coming from her rear. 5. Honda euro 2.4 manual 2009, going strong, but bored with power. Sold. 6. Honda Civic 1.6 manual diesel- wifes present car- fuel consumption 5.1 litres round town, balances my present machines appetite for fuel. 6. Ford FGX XR8 manual, intercooler, my present car, going strong, debating what mods to do and when ![]()

i thought i was not going to buy anymore after the GT but things happen and i have bought 4 cars in the past 12 months, and i currently have 4 cars, 3 with rego and the kingswood is waiting for club rego lucky i down't have kids to pay for.

As you'll see from my list, i like rare cars ;)
1986 Toyota Celica (crashed) 1988 VL Commodore Auto 6 (owned for 4 years, then my sister bought it, think its still running to this day without being serviced since i had it lol) 1987 VL Commodore Wagon Manual 6 1988 VL Commodore Wagon Manual 6 (turned into a Ute) 1993 VP Calais International Auto V8 (converted to 5 speed manual, now has a 6 speed manual, still currently own) 1985 VK Berlina Wagon Auto 304 V8 (yes a carbied 304, not a 308 like some people think ;). Ended up converting it to a V6 and 5 speed) 1993 VP Berlina Wagon Auto V6 1987 VL Commodore Manual 6 1992 Berlina LX Wagon Manual V8 (made into an SS wagon lookalike) 2008 FPV F6X Auto 6T (still own) 2004 Audi A4 S-Line Manual 4T (still own, selling shortly) 2006 FPV BF GT-P Manual V8 (still own) Last edited by STEALTHY; 01-03-2016 at 10:47 AM. |

OK, here are the vehicles I've owned all are stock photos showing the correct colour / model etc - never thought of owning a camera when young
Suzuki 120 - used on farm - Honda 50 Stepthrough used on the farm Honda Benly 110 - rode this from Canberra to Mossy Point a couple of times when I was 15 - coppers never bothered with me Honda Elsinore MT 250 - rode all over home before I got my licence Yamaha XT 250 - as above 1975 Chrysler Galant GC - bought before I was old enough for permit / licence at 16 - brand new with money I got working - swapped it for mum's 850 Mini 1966 Mini 850 - absolutely loved it till I found out FWD vehicles handle differently to RWD vehicles on dirt - swapped back with mum to Galant. Mum traded the Mini on a Datsun 1200 Ute got bored with it and swapped for my Galant again. She got bored with the Galant, swapped it again with me for the ute and traded it on a Mitsubishi Colt I traded the Galant for a brief love affair with an 1968 XT GT - the only one made / ordered with a white interior - drove from Canberra to Brisbane without refuelling - 36 Gallon tank (163 L) You guessed it traded back to my 1975 Galant till I decided to drive around Australia in six weeks so I bought this - 1978 Mitsubishi D50 ute - when I can get my daughter to scan in some photos for me I will show you what it really looked like wire chrome wheels / canopy / cupboards - bed / curtains / sound system / crawl through from cabin / sunroof / spotties / modified motor / gas suspension 1972 XA 302 Panel Van - decked out interior and side pipes while my ute travelled to QLD - Narooma blue type colour Didn't think I would need the ute in Darwin any more so bought a Mitsubishi Sigma GSR GK 2.6L - it died after hitting a Buffalo with a horn span of 2.03m In-between the GSR and my next motor bike were very brief love affairs with a 1968 HG Panel van - bed / leather interior / you get the picture And not forgetting my Datsun 1600 510 Rally Car Honda VF 500 - Darwin / Canberra return / Darwin / ASP - great machine one up but not two up / girl friend / wife Honda VF1000F11 Bol D'or - many trips two up north / south ASprings - saw 9980rpm one up 20km north of Alice 250kph - fastest i've been over 10km Holden Commodore VK V8 - ex SA Highway pursuit - had to buy when wife became pregnant. Nearly there Falcon EF XR6 manual Cobalt blue - sick of driving an Auto 1986 Honda VFR750F (24/36) - I refered to it as a Vincent black Shadow (Vincent / my name - Black / it's colour - Shadow / what it cast in sunlight) 2002 Laser Lxi 1.6L - this was my driving school car for 8 years - body kit included 2001 FalconXR6 AU Manual- - lightly modded motor - bought in 2010 and still own it Finally - 1986 BMW 635CSI (M) many mods - can list if interested - Arctic Blau - last I heard the new owner was blasting down the Kwinana Freeway on the wrong side of 160+kph being chased by a Mach 1 Mustang and pulling away from it. It currently has a two valve engine but new owner has an S38 four valve ready to go in. Cheers Vinny

1999 Toyota Windom 3.0G (Lexus ES300) - First car. Learnt to drive in it, passed all my tests in it, and got me through the most of highschool. Grenaded the trans being a ****wit and couldn't find a single replacement wrecker trans in all of NZ. Only option was a 4k rebuild, and so the car still sits on an old disused hoist in the mechanics shop waiting for a new trans to show up on the market. Been nearly 8 months, still no trans
![]() 2002 Toyota Camry 2.2GX - Not really owned. Was (and still is) mother's car, however she had no use for it at the time and I had no car, and so she gave it to me as "mine" for a couple months till I bought a new one. 2005 Ford Fairlane BA MkII Ghia - Current car, bought off a close friends father for 1.5k. He had someone willing to pay 4k for it but offered to give it to me for 1.5k instead, which I'm eternally grateful for. Car has 420,000km on the clock but is as tight as a drum, works an absolute charm. Doesn't seem like a long list, but I'm only 19 and have been driving for 3 and a bit years in total, including my time as a learner. When put that way it averages to a car a year, which is moderately worrying ![]()
