My missus is 22, and won't be covered on my XR's insurance for another 3 years. We'll see if she drives the car then.

She panicks a bit when i'm a passanger in her car, but i know that she is actually a good car, if not a little too cautious.

Nic drives the Landrover as much as I do, she drives the copany BA as well, she has driven the ute when she needs to and can drive them all as well as me, the only thing she's nervous about is loaded car trailers.

I don't have a significant other to drive my ute.

However, there are probably no women my age on the Coast who wanna drive Fords...

Maybe I should move???

I let mine drive it until it came home missing a fair amount of paint up the side.

apparently you can drive through concrete pillars in undercover shopping centers.

Luckily, it's only paint and no panel damage, and she's happy to pay the repairs.

Yes, I let my better half drive the XR8. She flogs it harder than me! Bit of a problem when you rock up to the local Autobarn and no-one believes it's your car as they have seen it flogged around the local area with a female at the helm!

Most guys have a coronary when they learn I let her drive it.

Funny part is I'm rarely allowed to drive her V8 Explorer! I hate to think what she does in that...

Well I drive caspers car and I think it sighs when I drive it because I do not drive it as hard as him. He is not allowed to drive the wagon as hard or he copes it. The only car he has not let me drive is the old xd. Why? do not know. Still can not get a straight answer on that one. But yes I drive the black beast as the kids call it. And oh lets see, He is away and Ihave the keys to it. hmmmmmmm which one do you think i am going to be taking tomorrow. :Up_to_som :evilsasmo

The XR is a big softy to drive, feel free to take it for a spin any time you like babe... tyres light up even better than the V8 EB... but I'm sure you have already discovered that by now :P

As for the XD.. lets see. evil clutch, no power steering, fat tyres, fickle handling.. deadly on dirt. I didnt let you drive it cause it was an evil car and I didnt want you to die. :

I don't have a problem letting my lady drive my Fairmont as she's probably a better driver than me.

the mrs drives the xr6 over the week and I get it on the weekends. Just as an aside guys can be prats when they see a chick in a real car. Every second day I get stories of some young git in a VN causing trouble for her. Statistically girls are safer behind the wheels anyway, they just need more balls :1syellow1

Your a braver man then I.... Theres only a handfull of mates I'd even consider letting drive my car on the street, and absolutely None of the girls I know have been confidence inspiring enough to let behind the wheel of the XY... and of course none of them are up to the task of the clutch or steering...

6 years later and nothing has changed... Wife even drove my car for Pearly's wedding around a year ago....
Currently am working at convincing her to get it onto a burnout pad and go nuts.

As long as I trust the person I see no issue in letting them drive my car...
