This will be the last of my power mods, unless I strike it lucky and inherit stupid amounts of cash. lol

After the above is done, buy a more modern daily car and use the AU as a weekender.
I got none of this done this year. Not that I didnt want to, but things changed so and so did my priorities with the car.

The exhaust is still on the cards, so to a tune but with a xcal 3, cam will be later but after the 5 speed conversion is done.

- Fit the V8 finally!!! then get a re tune
- Re do my roof lining
- Fit up a complete stereo system
LOL well the diff is done but apart from that very little else has even been started... oh I have bought the stereo equipment but just haven't fitted it yet.

Haha well as my quote said, it was subject to change without notice.
Didn't fit the sunroof, nor did I sell it..

But, I did fit the ESS gearbox, TS50 ECU, 3500rpm Hi-stall, twin 2.5" exhaust, Tickford Premo Brakes, Genuine TL50 seats. Gave the car a full cut, polish, wax and detail, re-fitted standard premo sound.

So this year I basically completed what I set out to achieve almost 7 years ago..
Not bad me thinks..!!

- upgrade diff to a 3.45 LSD (so I can easily get a speedo transducer so the speedo reads correctly!) - depends if I'm keeping it otherwise this is next
- Whiteline 27mm front swaybar - got this, but it's not fitted
- cam upgrade (doubtful) - nothing
- custom tune (only if EVERYTHING above has already happened) - obviously no

Apart from that, just keep it clean and enjoy! - haven't done this much either LOL
Also got in on the MACE manifold group buy for the upper and lower insulators - also still sitting in their box unfitted.

This year the AU hasn't received a lot of love - probably only cleaned it half a dozen times (when you're working on other people's cars all the time, sometimes you lose motivation to work on your own).

Have had the urge to just get rid of it and get a V8 ute as a work car for practicality / promotional reasons....but then I think I'd hardly get anything for it so may as well hold on to it!

Then I think maybe I don't need a 'work' ute, just use the AU and get a trailer if I really wanted something to carry stuff around...

Then I think maybe I could use the AU as a courtesy car for customers...but I don't know if I would want to revert the car back to stock...just wouldn't be the same...

Do I really want to keep going and plough this extra dough into the AU when I'm not going to get any of it back; and also the fact that it's still a relative pov-pack Futura - it's never going to be as quick as I want it to be...

A narooma blue XR8 ute would work really well for this. I can probably help you with that too.
