Sadly this thing is an ex UK car and is loaded with plenty of free rust. It really is a shame as it is loaded with great options, but well out of my ability to put back on the road.

yeah, apparently so. this thing is 99% complete so i shouldn't need too much, just a lot of replacement steel.

it's missing the tail lights, wheel arch chrome and windscreen that i know of, pick it up soon so hopefully there are no surprises.

Ad does not sound like a scammer, someone get in quick, must have that amount in parts alone, he says rusty, looks like a normal coupe. Does not show compliance plates, maybe factory 5.8???

What does Original Condition mean ?
Basically all original no previous repairs or at least not to many is my view.

burnt Orange Coupe has had half a left rear guard tacked on paint blown over both sides of the previous suspect repairs etc.
I dont remember that type of seat trim being original either in a fairmont.
Non original motor in the car is a plus.

Those of you who have seen my project thread may recall a wild violet coupe in our shed. It is now finished and for sale if anyone is looking for one. Will be on the cover of just cars in a few weeks time so keep your eyes peeled. Had a bare metal rebuild, stroker, toploader and nine inch.

My XC coupe sold. There is still a healthy market for aussie coupes. A guy I know imported 16 Mustangs earlier in the year in the hope to resell them for a profit and he he still has all 14 of them. They were all low mile original cars. He said he doesnt even get tyre kickers contacting him. I sold mine very easily.

I drive alot around Melbourne I see at least 1 mustang a day sometimes up to 3 .i have seen 1 coupe in 3 weeks a nice black xb on the bolte.Gets me alot more excited seeing a coupe than a mustang.

Yes, every 2 and their dog have been bringing in Mustangs for years in the hope that they will be a quick turnover for cash. Mustang Coupes are so common.........you see them everywhere......

maybe a little. the ZH front clip looks terrible in my opinion. first thing would be to change it back to xb. Horses for courses though eh
