To me it was more like old slap stick comedy but in real life. Anyhow, I had a job of resetting the power to an under sink grey water pump. Seen the plumber and he gives the ok whilst he fiddles with some valve then the pipe bursts spraying him in the face. In the 10 minutes it took to get keys and turn off the water and let the residual drain the kitchen was completely flooded. The floor beneath had water coming through also. The damage wasnt the funny part at all, but the confidence of yeah mate right to go then that happened. Gold.

A short chat with the cheery lady behind the counter at the servo this morning, then a little girl (maybe 3yo) walking with her mum from the pumps waving and saying Hello to me, a total stranger, while I clean my windscreen. Her Mum laughs, I say Hello back.

Its nice when people are just pleasant, rather than all the other options I see each day.

Went for a blast with a enthusiastic client in their 700HP Audi MTM Quattro around the NSW Central Coast. Holy c**p this thing's fast.
Felt good rocking up at the quarries in a race car with rego, however probably didn't help the price negotiations for him.

Put down a marine carpet mat inside our motorhome . More to protect original. Easier to clean .

Be careful of that so called marine carpet, often sold as rot free, UV proof and hard wearing but It isn't. I used it in a boat and in a motorhome and both have failed miserably.

Yea just using it as one big mat. It’s insude away from UV and weather . It’s easier to vacuum or broom . Protects original carpet . Less chance of us old codgers tripping on many smaller mats . It’s the carpet from
Bunnings. No backing, just glue and synthetic.. Time will tell .

My brother just got back on the bike and wanted to go for a ride. I don't ride so I took my ghia that I haven't driven in months, and not on the twisty stuff for years. The ghia still has it. I had fun, yeah the car cant keep up with a 1000cc bikes, but it was still fun.

Gave my car a clean today for the first time in 6 months and found these under the front seat.
Don't blame me if it rains in Sydney later.

Nice find.

But damn, it was you! I was all set to fire up the Weber (charcoal) and then the rain came down. Had to resort to the Q instead, as it's under cover.

Some fellow gave me a thumbs up and a bit of duckface as I was reverse parking the ranger today. I'm going to ignore the subtle sexist undertones and instead decide that he was showing support for my taste in vehicles.

14 km, Average 7 km/h, and yeah I was driving opposite peak hour.
Was a problem with a jumper on the harbour bridge.

It took me 2.5 hours to get into the cbd today where normally it takes 45 minutes in traffic. I used to live in carlingford and taking the tolls thats normally under half an hour against traffic. The police should have encouraged the stupid man to jump. Would have saved the millions of people he inconvenienced the inconvenience...

I installed some new service parts in my Au yesterday, my missus got them for me after asking Repco to price match (why not, haha) & she got those parts for bargain prices lol, I'm happy!!

For all you home mechanics, ask the spare parts bloke at the counter to price match against their competitors, its worth it, just check online before going shopping, good luck!!

cheers, Maka

Let Todd drive my F6 for the first time since the E85 upgrade. The look on his face when I said " just squeeze the throttle in third, dont go over half". It came on boost and smoked the rears.

Picked up 65rwkw with just a change of injectors and obviously more timing. Same boost. 18-19 psi. With a second pump I will be close to 500
