Lol they want to ban bullbars in Australia yet in japan its cool to have giant spears of steel coming our from the back of your car and pointing upwards, hard to imagine one of those cars being allowed to drive around these parts...

That link is hysterical! WTF is with the big tray like things out the front of some of them? And yes, as mentioned above, the waaaaayyy undersized tyres on the rims?

I would like to see a pic of each owner next to each car.

I cant believe some people like these things. Less is definitely more.

Good to laugh at though!!!

I would hardly car these rice, bar the wheels in the last two. Probably very fast cars too.

The rest are just mucking around. They are mostly **** boxes, with very bored owners.

the only rice i could see in any of your pictures is the wing on the GTO in your first pic... the rest of them are sexy in my opinion.. and im tipping all 4 of them have got power to back up their look.

the last two would be nuts drifters also (well, maybe not the GT-R due to the awd setup but yeah..) not ricey at all in my opinion

I saw the perfect rice car the other early evening, it was a black nissan silvia, man did it look awesome.
Sorry I dodnt get any photos of it, but she had slid round the roundabout in the wet, mounted the curb, rammed into a rock retaining wall and flipped over onto its roof.

Looked pure gold. The best ricer is a written off ricer.

yeah, the body work is most likely made of cast iron or something ridiculously heavy. What drives someone to do that??!!?

Tomei should sue the owner for tarnishing their name from putting tomei stickers on that car. Then again tomei probably sponsored them lol

I'd call them rice. The second one wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for the offset numberplate and bonnet full of holes. Similarily the first one is only let down by the drift wing and offset number plate. The last two with their unpainted carbon fibre bonnets, huge drift wings and millions of stickers look horrid.

The amount of them I see on Sydney's roads is not funny.
If I see them at traffic lights I have a good look ... get eye contact with the driver ... and then laugh at them.

I like to see their reaction.

Cheap rice is the funniest; sort of like guys who lower cars with an angle grinder, and get steel rims and paint them gold. The best are the tolls who drive around in riced up KC-KE lasers, and have nismo stickers and the like on them. Sort of brings a new definition to the term - *******.

So having an offset number plate to increase flow through the intercooler to lower intake temps and increase power is a "ricer mod" ? _

On a couple of those cars there is plenty of room ABOVE the intercooler to fit the number plate. It would look so much better there. On a lot of ricers, they offset the number plate completely for looks.
