Rough idle and slight engine miss.

Hi guys! I found reference in some other threads here about a rough idle, and some mentioned a slight engine miss. These posts said that they had fixed them, but failed to mention how!
My 99 AU that I only bought on Monday has a slightly rough idle, and in top gear, when I just touch the accelerator, it has a definate hesitation/stutter before it accelerates.
I'm guessing it could be leads, so I've bought a set, and will fit them this weekend, but was wondering if I'm heading down the right track.

I love this site by the way. Full of both good and bad things about the Fords. Too many forums are either all bad, or all good. Nice to see a balance of both, but discussed in a constructive way.
