Those portable EFTPOS units are not intrinsically safe so they can't be used on a servo forecourt, they would also need a till somewhere nearby to save the attendant from having to leave the area

i haven't had a driveway service since i last visited Goulburn. i didn't know they had it, but it was great thing to get the car filled and windscreen washed without getting out of the car!

& Caltex I believe it was called customer service , you know where you keep the customer happy so they keep coming back ! & was free!

My mum would proberly pay $2 litre for fuel knowing she woldnt have to pump her own petrol.

I would only use it if they filled up my car while I go inside and buy a snack or drink.
Plus it would be annoying since my petrol cap requires the cars key to unlock it.

I would rather do it myself then sit there doing nothing waiting for someone else to do it for me.

My mum oftens complains about the lack of service from "service" stations these days. She would use it, But wouldn't pay anymore for something that should be just good customer service.

But more than 3/4s of staff working in servos these days would have just as much mechanical knowledge as my mum. Would you want them checking your oil and tyres?
