Thanks to those "who can get grants or stipends from guilt ridden greenie obsessed governments to waste on some wild goose chase (wild shark chase)."

More power to them.
If you are going to spin your loony left propaganda at least read what you have already written before contradicting yourself.

There is no contradiction between, shark numbers being depleted and shark numbers increasing compared to decade ago. It is a product of better management.

Management of our fisheries may have started out as "loony left propaganda", but is now a vital policy area for any political party that wishes to form government.

I notice with interest the current left leaning government, is legislating to remove the restrictions placed on fishing for Maco sharks, imposed by the former right leaning government. About time!

I'm not against fishing, I eat seafood every week and wish to continue to do so.

And if you read your posts again Dr Spin you will see that in the first you wrote ARE DEPLETING and then wrote ARE INCREASING

That is the problem with telling lies in writing, there is actual evidence of it for all to see......

Forgive me I would have been clearer, had I realised I was to be placed under such scrutiny. I suspect you have no interest in understanding what I am saying, and just enjoy the semantics. Just in case you genuinely don't understand....

The number of sharks in the sea; are depleted, has gone down, are less than there used to be, are fewer in number than in the past. Even with an increase in shark numbers in the last few years, their number are way down on what they used to be.

The "experts" tell us if we wish to keep eating them,(and I do), we need to increase the number of sharks to a sustainable level.

The number of sharks in the sea; needs to increase, has to go up, wants to be more than it used to be, should be greater in number than in the past.

If this is not clear or seems contradictory, I apologise.
