Chalk up another vote for the Mazda Pearl White - is a very nice colour.
Also agree with a black other than Silhouette which is more a muddy green. Bring back Mandarin on the FG's I reckon.

I went for Bright Yellow for the prime reason I miss Rapid! It needs to be metallic (of course!) to be perfect, though...
A nice Mystic-esque blue would also be killer. What I mean by 'Mystic-esque' is to replace the turquoise in the turquoise / black mix with something like Nitro - or more realistically Sensation... Ego was nice - in 2008 on launch. For some reason, I have become accustomed to it, so it now seems boring... Same with Nitro - there are 3(!) Nitro XR6's in town (small country town) - I even helped deliver one on Work Experience last year (Sales Consultant @ Clancy Ford Bathurst). It's still nice - but just not as desirable... |

Heritage Green, had an EF XR8 and an SR Laser in that colour (not sure if that was the correct colour name for the Laser, but they looked the same side by side). Had an AU in Meteorite, thought that was a nice colour too, but my first preference would be the green.

My opinion only, I think the primary colours look too 60's on a modern car, thats not to say they don't look bad on an older car.

I don't mind that pearl white colour that Toyota/Scoobaru have that almost goes pinkish in the right light, its an awesome looking colour. Can imagine it being a pain at the crash repair though!

i voted bright yellow but i also think the FG would look great in a sparkling pearl white, classy colour for the upper class range. that deep pearly red from the mazda 3 and 6 would look good too.
when are they going to bring out a limited edition GT in the XW diamond white / gold stripe scheme.

I really nice metallic Bronze is definitely what is missing.
Good to see they have brought out a light pearl blue colour now. Also the new Mystic is a nice colour. Was a shame Breeze was so short lived though. Other than that ... Would love to see Mandarin return though. And Merc Silver. Recently saw a well maintained Fantasy XR6 the other day ... shame they weren't that popular (love the bronze in that too)

Pearl White for the G-Series .
Seeing as XR6 is becoming a bit of a base model the XR range needs more options overall including new colours and (in particular) two choices of 17-inch rim; as the current ones are a tad dull IMO. Doing this would be good for resale, what with all the fleets buying XR6's now. Maybe bring back the old 'Hounds-Tooth' XR-Rim (from the EF days i think) in 17" guise and give the punters a choice so we don't get too many generic XR's going around. |

I voted for pearl white, I think that would be a great colour, especially after a good polish out in the sun.
What about however a range of Fantasy-based colours. For example fantasy is the dark purply-blue colour, there could be a light bluyish-white colour and maybe an orangy-yellowy-redish colour for the sport variants, etc. These could be a range of premium colours for XRs and Gs, I think that would be pretty cool, and have colours unique colours almost exlusive in the automotive industry, bar maybe TVR.
