Landcruiser 78 series with the 4.5L turbo diesel v8 and extended range fuel tanks.

They would also replace the Toyota badge bulls horns with a ford badge to satisfy the forum. Most reliable ford ever!

They'd probably take a Bushmaster.

Like horses, you'd think they'd be reliable, but looks can be deceiving.

Anything but a Sportwagon, because it couldn't fit a satellite phone in the boot.

How could you go past the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor especially with the 6.2l 400HP donk.
These things are also supposed to have 13 inches of wheel travel in the rear so it should give a comfy ride for a long trip.

Going by the options provided, I went for the BA RTVs, but if I had my pick, I would definetly go the Land Cruiser Troocarrier. Unstoppable!

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Who said you have to travel without any luxuries? I'm sure that one of these would have been at the top of their list.
