Ergk... now i know why Sensodrive has been reviewed soo poorly. it was a shocking gearbox. You can feel it slipping the clutch. At low rpm it felt like a complete dog. However in the midrange, it really was quite a sweet engine.

Didnt get much of a chance to fang it.

I then went over to VW... the polo GTI really IS a about ten steps above the C2 in every way.
Im now looking at a new polo gti in White, only option will be leather pack.
It just looked soo stunning, felt so solid, so fast and so stable.

Esp cutting in changing from second to third confirms it is a very powerfull little motor.
It also uses Sachs Shock absorbers from what i could tell ( was very wet) it handles quite admirably too
I've said it once, I'll say it again, I want a Golf GTi. The Polo GTi is awesome too.

Yes, the VTS is getting very close to Polo GTi territory. How much difference is there size wise between the Fiesta, the C2 and the Polo GTi?

If you're young the insurance price could be the deciding factor. Turbo = $$$

Insurance is no huge issue anymore. i have a good driving record and a very very good no claim bonus.

However i will be calling my insurance company tommorow to check what they can do for me.

PS Sensodrive C2 is a bag of horse do do

For insurance try doing an online quote through www.ing.com.au just follow the links through to their insurance page. They're underwritten by CGU but have some better clauses like choice of own repairer and better new car replacement if written off (it was better for us anyway ;) )

We're only paying $31 per month for a brand new Mazda 6!

C2 is smaller than the Fez or Polo. I took a Polo for a spin when I was looking at cars, it pulled like a schoolboy. Handles like a Fez but with more power. I'd have really liked a red one but just couldn't go that high. A German tuner is getting 300bhp out of a polo, ESP would be handy.

http://www.citroen.com.au/cms/defaul...article&ID=643 specs for the VTS are on the Citroen website. Interestingly it gets more power than the VTR, up to 90kW.

Yep - Old news David :P

I was with my mate yesterday when we heard one fly past. I'm hoping it had a pod filter or exhaust, as it sounded horn!
