I had the fuel change today at the Shell, i was filling up at whilst i was there... when i ended my fill, the pumps added 17cents to themselves... i would suggest it was a close call ($1.109 to $1.279 for ULP)
Wednesday arvo, after the Fuelwatch surveryers have gone through they raise the prices around Brisbane!
Locals closer to home hadnt changed by the time i got here....

I am heading to the NT late next week. I can imagine the rip off prices i will be paying up there!!!

In 1988 the oil price soared to US$35/barrell and the Oz $ was worth about US$.52 and fuel hit AU$0.50/L and everyone went ballistic... So by my reckoning, It's now nudging US$70/barrell and if we still traded at US$0.52, it should be about AU$1.00/L but we're trading at US$0.72 so we should be doing better than AU$1.00/L...

I'm tired and my brain hurts...
