Thanks guys !

I went down GOR last night with MADED.6 and my other mate, it felt real good with full tank and full car up and down those hills, although it needed 2nd around some 35k bends. It felt REAL good to drive through, plus it helped being freezing cold!

Thanks Paul once again, without your time and help it wouldnt be possible, a few people have said already, what the **** is CVE'd???? LoL:P:P

well, ill say it now. You will see it when you go to calder next time. for sure. You were hitting a 14.4 with 155kw, Now with 175 ur in with a good shot.

BUT- get some fatter rubber on the rears. What did you run last time? maybe 215? Id put some 245's on from someone and try it. Lower the tyre pressures a bit, and you shouldnt have to worry about wheel spin too much. You will nail it mate.

I will need a ripper shift if i ever plan on a high 13 second pass, i shift WAY to slow into third, as my box is weird and i keep either getting 5th, or the wall, so i shift not slow, but as you would on the street, so i can get it in.

mine will only go into third if shifting slowly, it refuses to slip in if shifted quick, so i need a ripper shifter, there 300 buks IIRC

you guys are taking dyno results as gospel. 174rwks, yes great, now back it up with a 13.8 @ 100 mph and don't blame your next 1/4 mile run on tyres. Come prepared, and that doesn't measn slicks. Good 235/45/r17's will do the Job.

OT, but what e-series chips can you tune? ChipTorque? Xede? They all have the same dealer/buy in rubbish, none of them are open. I'd love to be able to fiddle with my tune without paying $700 for lachlan to do it.

im looking at changing cams and would need a retune, the only other place I know of that does ChipTorque in melbourne is amberley, and they're expensive.

PM me if you can help!

Ease up, I'm only happy because this was achieved WITHOUT headwork and chip, not the actual figure being 174, any e-series with chip/cam and right combo can wip that out...see needfordspeed for example.

I will try and back it up, only when i get a ripper shifter and good tyres, im not goin back as is and only wipping out high 14's because i cant grip/get 3rd and then complaining. I will go prepared next time.

Congrats on the results, surely you realise the next step will be chip and tune.
If the CAPPA e-series eliminator chip is sorted by now, surely it will get you close to the 200rwkw mark.
If you can break that you are breaking new ground and you should be proud of that!
