I don't have a drinking problem -
I drink
I get drunk
I fall down
No Problem
A beer never turns you down - remember that!!

I havnt been able to drink again properly since last xmas eve at my partners parents house... whoa what a night!

Now i can down maybe a couple of drinks and then I've had enough, not interested in grog anymore! I just think of what i could be spending my money on instead!

lol the only time we buy grog is when we've had a cheap weekly shoppin trip, and we buy a six pack, and that usually lasts awhile!
We do have a very impressive grog cupboard, and its only getting bigger because we dont drink enough to keep the stock low!

Working at a pub staffies can sometimes go a bit crazy. Espically during summer we can go fora fair while. For fun we counted how many drinks most of us had during a week and we were well within the definition for an alcoholic. (cant find it but its actually not much)

Stopped drinkin altogether about 6 weeks ago. Wasn't a big drinker.....say 6-10 cans of heavy and a cupla bottles of red a week and since stopping I feel great. This isnt a lot compared to some you you lot ...and I guess everyones bodys are different in terms of how much is right amount for you. Its made a big difference to my life I'm a much happier person. Pay attention to how your body and head feels after having a few drinks...and then go without for a few weeks and compare the difference. Its all about finding the right balance and for me its no booze, for someone else it could just be about cutting back.

Drink about about 2 cartons of VB a week.

The older I get tho, the less I find myself drinking.

The only time you have a drinking problem is when you don't have one in your hand.

Yep, I drink too much, but I can admit it, so I'm ok :P

Not really, only about 3-4 cans of scotch a night, just with dinner and while watching the TV. The problem for me lies in the two nights a week (on average) that I go out and blow ~$100 on booze alone. I guess my drinking problem is just that I'm wasting valuable car modding money :(

It amazes me the amount that some of you guys put away!

Apart from the obvious financial cost, the long term physical effects can't be all that flash either.

Interesting stat I came across the other day. 75% of Police callouts to violence involve abuse of alcohol.

I drink, but not very often. When I do, its only a few glasses of whatever.

Everything is a financial loss and a bad effect.

If you're worried about the cost.. Drink goon! Man that gets you going.. Then again, if you're worried about physical effects, maybe you shouldn't :

Seriously though, a night out is great fun. I try my hardest to stay away from clubs/pubs as I don't drink much beer, and spirits are a complete rip off. 8-9 bucks for a watered down jimmy and 'coke', no thanks! So it's pre-drinks or nights with the fella's for me. Unless there's a good band, then it's sweet.

Places where you don't have to worry about popped collared ******* and skanks are the best anyway. Places like Maccy D's, where you can buy 4 cheeseys for the price of a bar jimmy and then throw em at eachother is more fun.

Im pretty comfortable with my drinking.

I would get drunk maybe once per month... dont mind having a beer or two each night after a day's work, or a bottle of wine with my dinner. Have developed a bit of a tolerance to vino.

Every now and then will have a night out on the town and p*ss a couple hundred bucks up against a wall. Not really into clubs tho. And we have 3 or 4 lunches/dinners per year with work and that usually ends up in 3 or 4 bots of wine each.

Used to drink too much, i was into a few drugs at school and snapped out of that when i got entry into uni, but started drinking a fair bit. Got into modding cars and didnt drink for months at a time - preferred to be driving.
