I agree to, poor guy had no idea what that thing was and comes on here asking for advice and most of you try to get him to pull his ecu out, how can we run a good forum if people get mocked when they ask for help from other members

I agree. Not everyone here are enthusiests. Some are just looking for a little help. I don't own a Falcon and would not have know what it was from the pic.

Posted by Xcabbi, Does it slap or rattle? Rattle is more to do with timing chains and tensioners. Slap is more to do with lifters, rings, bearings or GENIII boat anchors

I was looking over my car to save weight and found a huge lump of what appears to be unecessary metal, I was thinking of ripping it out.
