Hi all, Ben's the name. Been a member for a while, but didn't have much to contribute. I'm hoping to get in a bit more now and learn what I can.
Cars so far: 1985 XF ute, 1999 AU Falcon 6-seater, currently have a 2010 BF XT wagon with a dream for an XR exterior/Fairmont interior.

Hi guys, as a newie i'm trying to find the ways around the site but thought to ask here first, has any one knows location of sensors in a BA fairmont 2003 6 cyl. ?
I think i'm having trouble with the crank angle sensor, but not sure, some times works fine, some other it goes crazy and is hard to start or stay alive. I would apreciate some direction or diagrams. it run dual fuel and it does not work on petrol (fuel pump only 12 month old), could it be the solenoids (I think they are called like that) that regulate the fuel and gas opening and closing etc. ?
Thanks

There's a couple of three forums that might be able to help.
Have a look in the LPG. The AU-BF Forum or the B series Forum.

Hey, just thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Mark, and I've just recently acquired a Series 1 AU forte on dual fuel.

Big step up from what I was driving previously, a Mitsubishi Lancer CE (300,000km on the clock, a third of which were mine. it served me well).

I'll mostly be lurking and learning for the moment. Very much appreciate the existence of this site, and all of the info people contribute.

cheers!

Default Hi there from a Ford Territory Owner

Hi all,

After lotsa research about which new vehicle to buy as a good diesel tow vehicle, I bought my beautiful white FORD TERRITORY TS AWD end of October last year. I love my Tug and have clocked just over 8000k on her.

She does magnificently towing our Jayco Freedom Poptop van and two kayaks on her roof (thule hullivator).

I love this car.

Hi
We have a Mustang Cobra 2000 rolling shell which we believe was originally constructed, designed and engineered by Steve Hoinville @ Ford Racing.
Does anybody knows how we can get in contact with Steve?
Does anybody know where the original V10 modular motor is?
Who can we speak to at Ford Racing to get more some info regarding this vehicle?
Your help is appreciated!

Hi all. Former FG XR6T owner here. Then along came a divorce and now it's life in the slow lane in a BF Fairmont. But I am saving my pennies for an FG F6 and the inevitable mods.

Hi all,

Joined recently, after buying an 09 G6E Turbo. Nothing special - factory 19's seem to be the only upgrade, other than a HD towbar.

Have replaced 2 tyres, the original trans heat exchanger (with a new Ford one), and just finished fitting a set of Bilstein shocks F&R.

Cheers,
Geoff

Hello everyone.
I'm a long time Ford owner starting with a Lotus Twin Cam Escort which was put together while I prepared Bob Holdens Escorts. Later on I bought an EF XR6 which my son now owns. I currently have a BA XR6T and a 1970 Torino 429 Super Cobra Jet which I imported about 12 months ago.
Hopefully my son and I can come along to a cruise or two and join in the fun.
Mark.

Hi my name is Lea.

After years of dreaming I've taken the plunge and bought a 84 F100 ex ambo... not that I needed another car. Still unsure of my plans for it, maybe a camper, maybe not. Just know I've always wanted one. Though the migraine is seeking in just thinking about where to get parts from.

Hey all. Im here to find as much info as possible on the Fiesta's as i want to mod mine as much as possible and learn about motors in general.
I own a 1.6 WT Zetec Auto which i purchased this time last year (and already needs the clutch replaced!!).
Even though im 33, this is my first ever car.....Period! Being from England i never had to drive and soon learned that its pretty much impossible to keep doing that over here, so only actually been driving for about 2 years now.
Have to say im loving the Fiesta, ive always wanted one since the re design in 08 i think it was, so very glad i manged to get my own, but kind of wish i waited until the new look come out early this year

Gday Guys,

Just joined today to do a bit of research on SZ Territorys, brought my Titanium just over 2 years ago new, looking at installing a Diesel Tuning chip sometime in the next 6 months, mainly for the 40% increase in torque.
I had worked as a Ford Mechanic in Ford Dealerships for 10 years but have been out of the game for 10 years now so I thought id join up & get updated of whats been happening in the Ford world.
Cheers

Hi All
Joined the forum to search through some of the tech articles and find out a bit more about the steering box in my 65 mustang (Kirby Bishop Australia)? as its not the original due to the right hand drive conversion.

hi all,

i've just joined this forum and am hoping to get a bit of advice for my 03 xr6 ba.... i was wondering how far i can let the drive shaft down before it puts to much tension on it and does some damage?

I need to get the diff down to get at the lower arms to replace but don't want to ruin the drive shaft at the same time.

any help would be appreciated

thanks in advance!
