Some of you may like this, but it's not my cup of tea. Good on the owner for doing something different, yada, yada.

Holden Monaro with a Nissan 4.5ltr quad-cam 32valve v8 engine. 5spd manual. Looks like it has a bit of BA in it too. Apprarently the monaro was a repairable write off.

Spotted this in Berwick last night around 6.30pm..
Has an Ecotec V6 badge on the bootlid and BMWV6 plates..
Sounded very droney so it could well have had a V6 in it..
Is it a common conversion?

Its probably a 318, but The owner wanted to pretend they have a 6 Cylinder one, but didn't know BMW only have I6 and not V6;s

That BMW is for real. I ran the rego through the vic roads website and the engine number is VAxxxxxx, which is a vx/vy ecotec engine number.

Tidy e30 318 bmw 2door $500 drove it for about a year, motor got tired and the cheepest good runner was going to cost between $700 and $900! Bought complete v6 commodore for $150. Motor went in with only mounts made up and drive shaft mod being the hardest part $83 all up. Just need electric fans off ford mondeo to finish. Very easy conversion!

Dont see a problem with the Commo V6 in the BMW, you seen what it costs to fix a BMW engine?
Buy a cheap 318i with a bung engine, put a V6 in it for a few grand and you got a decent car.
An LS1 would be a better idea however....

A new version of mobile Social networking?

And I think after seeing this, the prius is no longer THAT much of a pollution saver

Modern Pirates of the Caribbean?

Don't know what to make of this:

seen this today on the way to the tip. he would have been hiking it down the hill. easily over 150kph. he was sideways for well over 200m. hit something at the intersection and took out the fence and roller door on the shed.

typical commodore with a stockie on the back and clear tail lights with red garnish

How can it be called Brand Bashing when there is just so so many examples of idiots driving Commodores. It's just the truth, there is no denying it.

This is the 3rd post on this website I have seen about a crashed commodore in the past week.
