What? like the redcliffe dyno XR8 ute with twin turbo clevo for example?

Yea suppose, more of an original engine'd car like Steve's Black ute.

But you can't compare out and out drag car to a dyno queen.

Did you not see the pic's posted, it's clearly a bright red ute.

While it's true their purposes are different, and I doubt the redcliffe car will end up competing in dyno comps, though the numbers at the track will do the talking for it.

The botched tassone dyno run was on C16, as is the redcliffe car, with the redcliffe car looking good for 15-1600hp when fully tuned.

I've never really seen the attraction to the horsepower heroes type shootouts, always seemed to me like "lets see who can build the most powerful grenade which happens to last the competition out to claim the trophy" I prefer a competition like the engine masters in the US where the horsepower figure is averaged over a useful rpm band to give the better score. Though to the credit of tassone, the VH which came before this ute did see some dragstrip competition
