Good News, Bad News...

The Good News - I just installed a K&N panel filter on the fez. Its great!!!

The Bad News - I recently did a wheel alignment on my fez at bridgestone, the guy told me the left rear was out of alignment but couldn't be adjusted. So i took it to ford to check it out, they did their own alignment and indeed it was off (i believe the total rear toe its like 7.8mm which is ridiculous). Anyway, apparently the hub was "damaged", i found that hard to believe. Well after replacing the hub the alignment was still off. So now their gonna do a chassis alignment to see if its something a lot worse.

I haven't payed anything of course, this is all under warranty. Geez, its not like I rammed into a gutter or something, i've never had an accident in the car. Its got me slightly worried but hopefully everything should turn out fine.

I presume this is a new car?........ if it is and the chassis is bent surely Ford should replace the car, good luck with it all "nnng_oozie", let us all know how ya get on.

Do the Fiesta's have front and rear subframes like the Mondeo's do? If they do you probably just need a subframe alignment (requires special tools- I bought some for my Mondeo from the UK and surprise, surprise it was "out" from the factory...)

I got the car in 2004 brand new, the only other person thats ever driven it is my dad. Thanks for the feedback, i'll keep u guys up with the progress. but it'll be next next monday when i take it back to ford.

i have a similar problem well not really, i find myself constantly having to re-align my cars wheels every 3 months and i dont hit anything its fruuckerd lol !

HEY GOOD NEWS!!! just got the car back and everything is fixed, YAY!!! Apparently while they were doing the chassis alignment they found an arm or something that was adjustable after all. So now i can finally look forward to a service and some new tyres sooner or later!!!
