Doesn't the SZ diesel use EPAS (Electric Power Assisted Steering)?

(At least you are looking and asking questions. 99.9% of the rest of the population wouldn't even bother).

Check the simple things first. I assume all of the connections on the battery terminals are tight, negative ground on the chassis is tight, and the battery is reasonably OK?

Should add, there is a Territory sub forum here

https://www.fordforums.com.au/forumdisplay.php?f=315

Discussion on heavy steering here

https://www.fordforums.com.au/showth...highlight=EPAS

https://www.fordforums.com.au/showth...highlight=EPAS

Plus a few more (I searched on EPAS).

There may be value in getting a scan done of the onboard 'puter.

Also do you guys know what causes multiple power windows on and off not go down or up and getting stuck either down or up?
Is it the main switch?

I never had any issues with the power windows (thankfully), but there are quite a few discussions in the Territory sub forum about various problems with them.

May I suggest using the search feature? Near the top of the page is menu bar.

Click search and in the popup menu click "advanced search". In the key words field try "power windows". Importantly, in the Search in Forums field (bottom right dialogue box), scroll down until you see "Territory & Endura" and click on that. Then check that the Find Posts from field is set to "Any Date". This should give you search results something like this https://www.fordforums.com.au/search...rchid=13976424

That will return quite a few results. Have a bit of a read of them to see if someone had been having similar problems to yours.

Another great resource for Territory owners is the Technical Section. See the menu bar near the top of the page for "Tech Resources". About half way down the page in the "Technical Documents - General" there is a link to a page "Territory, Endura, Everest, Ranger". Listed are articles on wind switch repairs https://www.fordforums.com.au/vbport...?articleid=729 and replacing window clips https://www.fordforums.com.au/vbport...?articleid=536 that may help with your problem.

Also see https://fordforums.com.au/vbportal/v...articleid=1933 and especially https://fordforums.com.au/wsmpub/sz299/211-00.html Section 211-00-03 onwards. Check all your tyres are of exactly the came size, brand. type and with equal wear condition.
