So I ripped it all off because it was not practical which was a struggle with the self adhesive.

Today I finally got around to trying to clean it all up. **** me that was hard but between acetone and meth spirits I got it all off mostly.

I rinse the cloth and think it's all good and chuck it in the wash. My whole laundry smells like it now.

Funny how you say your doors were hard to close, I had the same experience once trying to do the same, complete failure, I think you need to have the doors readjusted which was beyond my pay grade.

No, shave the foam thinner with a hard-backed razor blade. Or use different foams on different sides of the jamb. Eyeball and measure before buying and sticking.

We all know that we're ripped badly when grocery shopping, but watched a recent US $20 shopping session at a grocery chain in Iran & we'd be lucky to get 1/4 of what they can......products & choices looked good too.

I get your point, but they probably don't have the theft rate which makes shopping more expensive. Bet they don't have millions in retail theft every year. Besides who wants to get hung for stealing an expensive steak or packet of razors.

So many reasons behind it, but we wear the cost while they keep making record profits........

Today, while polishing the nearside guard of my ute, I had temporarily disconnected the side repeater so I could wax its recessed seat along with rest of the panel.

First the repeater lens came loose from the body. Then the globe’s orange coating disappeared in a puff of air. To round things out, the wiring “tail” then dropped back into the bowels of the guard - from where it took me a few minutes with torch plus clawed pick-up tool to retrieve.

Got my tax assessment done yesterday. Left that appointment comfortable with a circa $400 return. But, I had to provide the accountant with my employee share plan details as that had not been uploaded into my mygov account. Supplied that to him this morning. Now have a circa $1300 tax debit that I need to fund

Dopey website questionnaires.

“How likely are you to recommend MyPlates to family or friends?”

(This after I’ve spent an irritatingly unpalatable figure renewing a hold.)

I've been asked to provide a review of a rubber o-ring before. I mean, what am I supposed to say about a 0.50c o-ring?

Our new fridge started playing up so had to call Samsung to get it fixed.
They made 7 seperate phone calls to me asking what the fridge was doing plus 5 emails.
This was over the course of 2 weeks.
Each phone call was from a different person, each claiming to be higher up the ladder and each one asked exactly the same questions.
Each one of them spoke very limited English,
I was asked to fill in a survey at the end of the process and gave them a very low score with detailed information.
I got another phone call back asking why I gave such a low score so naturally I said you've obviously read what I said to justify it.
They pleaded with me to change it so I did - I gave them an even lower score. Haven't heard anything since.

You would think with all the connectivity that Samsung fridges come with now it could have called them it's self and reported any issues, mine will message me when I'm overseas to tell me the door is open or the bloody mayo is past it use by. That was till I removed myself from it.
