Default Record AFL score?

Just checked the footy results on afl.com.au:

Western Bulldogs 43.43.(301) def. Melbourne 36.43.(259) Is this for real (I missed the news on 10).

While the Dogs' 20.17 (137) to 12.18 (90) victory looks comfortable on the scoreboard, make no mistake this was a major test for Rodney Eade's much-improved side against a side that had beaten them in eight of their past nine meetings dating back to 2001.

i highly doubt you would ever see 2 teams score so high. Maybe one team score over 300 but the other was on 1 point, lol

did afl really say that as the score. i had the screen up as i was watching the geelong match and it never said that

im actually quite dissapointed with the new afl online scores, last week it didnt up date so i was stuck using the html version. this week they were playing the 3rd quater in the 2nd quater scoring worm, and also this is the html scoring page that comes up when im looking for the melb v dogs match, only 2 years old. lol http://livescores.afl.com.au/match-10160203.html

The AFL website is, and has for a long time been, crap. Maybe if they could speed it up it may make it better, but I doubt that will happen when they keep deciding to make it high-tech for no reason.

Pretty big? That's an understatement. Thanks for the right score! I knew who won, but the score just seemed incredible, and impossible. And now I know it was.

Good start to the season for the Doggies. Shame it will all come undone for them next week when they play The Bombers :hihi:

The bombers couldnt even get near the lions last night, what hope do the bombers have against the dogs with ever shortening odds to win the premiership!

Come back to this post in a weeks time and we'll see who's right. The Bombers match up very well against the dogs.

Port Elliot would always loose in their Games in the Southern Fluerio league. It was not uncommon to see the other team score over 400points
