Default Pay to view movie downloads...Tried it??

Tried it? Worth the $$$? Worth downloading? Or just keep renting dvds from the local video shop?

Pay to view movie downloads, Im trying to find a website that I can download dvd quality movies from, but Im not sure of quality. I want Surround!!

I dont want the ones where the quality actually looks like you have downloaded it from a shareware site and always during the movie you see heads walking across the screen!! These are usually the ones you buy from the markets at a cheap price.

Here are a couple I have found

www.lightspeedmovies.com I like the sound of the $29.95 one time fee
www.bigpondmovies.com

So you have to download the movie, effectively costing you downloads, and then paying for the movie. On my current plan, if I downloaded 1 GB, that would be worth $2.50. Might as well just download the movie via "Channel BT" (bit torrent) for free.

The dodgy ones at the markets are usually what is referred to as a Telesync version - basically pretty good for a video camera job. These come out pretty much as soon as the movie hits the cinemas. The ones to look for are the DVD screeners - pretty much a DVD version of the movie that comes out before the official release. It is a DVD copy for film awards judges to use. These tend to appear after a few months.

You probably won't be able to download the newest movies from legit sites - it would be similar to the video store's release dates. I doubt legit downloads would have surround either - it's take up more data and you'd have to download more.

thanks pauljh74. I have a plan with unlimited downloads which is a bonus! But I can see your point, no good downloading inferia copies with mono sound when we have paid alot of money for a top quality sound system. Might as well be patient and wait for the dvd to come out I suppose.
