Hi Guys,
Has anyone changed the instrument clusterover on a ZC Fairlane. The young bloke an I have a project ZC Fairlane and the young bloke wants the GT/GS Dash in place of the non working Fairlane instrument panel. Any info would be appreciated. |

I have no doubt that the GT dash can be installed in a ZC but I don't think it looks right as I did see a picture recently on either this site or on Ford Muscle Cars web site. The dash fascia dimensions should be exactly the same but you will need to fit an oil pressure switch for an oil gauge. Not sure if the plug at the rear needs extra wiring for the tachometer.

Did it 25 years ago and then again about 17 years ago. From memory there was some steel to cut around the 3 x gauge pod area, spacers or not (?) for the clock and thats about it. Plug needs to be cut off and wired individually. All pretty straight forward. But anything to do with working on dash's is a PIA!
