does anyone know if you can simply replace the standard blubs with blue ice ones? not the headlights just the blub in the stock headlight...
i took the headlights out today.... very very easy only 3 screws and the electrics.. thankx in advance |

the main bulbs are h4
the fog bulbs are h11 the park lights are wedge bulbs |

ive replaced the park lights with narva blue ice (i think they are called)
and the main bulbs with phillips night vision plus 50, im not sure if it has given the lights more range so to speak but they have definately made the light coverage alot brighter. looks cool too

I changed the globe.... but now i think alignment might be out. Anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to MANUALLY adjust them? Like, on (0) Zero setting inside, it doesnt seem to be high enough.

if the two headlights not aligned with eachother then theres no use using the level adjustment because that adjusts both lights up the same amount, you cant adjust both lights individually.
The reason they arnt aligned is because you undid the three screws. believe it or not but if you dont screw them up in the EXACT same position as they came in then they will be wayy out. I had this problem. best thing i found was park your car about 10 meters away from a flat wall at night and loosen the three screws and push the headlight up or tilt it down and when you find the optimum light beam position,hold it there and do the screws up then try to match the same level and spacing with the other headlight

im pretty sure theres an adjustment screw on the back of the headlight assembly, from memory its white in colour. very similar to fog light adjuster
but the only problem with that is that you cant get to it whilst the headlight is in, so that becomes a bit difficult. and ive got PIAA sparkblue 7500K on the mains, with white LED's on the parkers, and some sparkblue 7500K coming for the fogs. all up, $420 worth of lighting :( |
