VCT, Variable cam timing.

In the VCT engine the cam timing can be advanced or retarded to allow for changes in gas flow at various rev ranges.

The AU had one cam for both inlet and exhaust, BA had 2 (1 for in 1 for ex)which were syncronised and then BF and later have 2 that are independent from each other.

Intec has fixed timing on 1 cam only

Cylinder head and rocker cover were quite different at the front. But it also had the tweaks the non VCT XR6 engine got like bigger valves etc and a bigger exhaust.

From memory everything below the head was the same.
