Default Problem with New intake manifold/runners

Bought a new intake manifold for BA 4.0
On closer inspection we found a deep cast fault in it that had been camouflaged with a dob of thick alloy colored paint.
The fault runs down pretty far just under the surface & pops out in certain areas.
Do you think it will crack after it heats up & cools down a few times?
Should i try to get it replaced?
It is in the machined No2 bank injector recess. My mechanic says that the injector may eventually leak there.

Agree with xalent, send it back for refund or replacement. If they're a reputable business there shouldn't be a prob.
