Default Built in Navi's for 2010 Focus Zetec?

Here in Japan I have a built in Sony Navi system dvd and TV in my Toyota Verossa..

Upon returning back to Australia later this year, I plan on buying a 2009-10 Focus Zetec, and am interested what is out there in Australia as far as after market Navi's ect?

I am not a big fan of silly screens stuck to the top of the dash, and would like to replace the stock factory stereo area with an aftermarket Navi, Stereo, DVD TV console..

Cheers, Chris

Hey Mate,

Your best bet is one of these:

http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/2...0BT/index.html

It fits in perfectly. The problem is that you have to import from Europe and obtaining the aussie maps.

Thanks Killer... So how easy are getting the Aussie maps?

I would normally bring the one I have with me. But my brother in law wants to buy the car as is..

That is absolutely brilliant. A known brand name with a custom fitting stereo.

Do they do them in the LS (rectangular) shape?

I'm not too worried about the shape.. A back plate can be custom made to go around the system... That pioneer system is expensive for what it is and does...

chris i been looking at this one but am unable to find info on changing the maps. it is not cheap either.

http://www.zenec.com/en/products/ego/ford/ze-nc3810/

then there is this chinese one..http://www.autodvdgps.com/oem-autora...rds-p-370.html

i know what you mean about the surround adapter but for me i can live with it if it means fitting a top quality deck 7" screen with navi....

Maybe its just me, and I have been in Japan too long and have been spoilt. But it just seems that AUstralian car manufacturers are way behind..

I was driving home from work last night. And next to me was this little tiny Suzuki Wagon R. And it had a built in navi... I was like, wtf. Why can't Ford at least put them standard in at least the Zetec or TDci ect?

I agree 100% with you mate. I am only in japan about 6 weeks per year and i think navigation is atleast 5 yrs ahead of any where in the world. Their 3G mapping is almost what you see out of you front windscreen. I also love the Suzuki wagon r's great little car. Yes it should vecan option but knowing what other car companies are charging it would nt be cheap.
