Just looked at my engine,when they decked the block they sort of removed the engine no.And we have no idea, what to do as i have no rego papers.With the numbers on it, i'm up that well known street.I rang the engine builder, he didn't know he did it and cannot help.Any ideas

original motor should match the same number on your shocky tower and the compliance plate.... if not i dont think the numbers are anywhere else if you have an escort?

Do you know what the previous registration was?
Take that rego number to Vicroads (or whatever state your in) and they will have the car on their system. They will be able to tell you what the last registered engine number was, then you should be able to match it up. I also find it hard to believe that you could shave that much of the number off that it is unreadable as well. |
