Default Rain / Window Visors

Just wondering if anyone knows where to get window / rain visors from somewhere other than directly from Ford. I've heard the visors don't cost so much themselves however if you get them from Ford, they insist on the installation themselves and thus ad a few hundred extra.

Cheers

Have you fitted them yet? And if so, what's the verdict?

I have some slimline ones on my car.
Bought from ford and are quite good.
Clean the application area thoroughly with isopropyl swab and then apply as per instructions.
They have been on for 3 years without problems.

You can just see them in this photo. They finish just behind the rearview mirror, and are only held on by strong double sided automotive tape.

i have had aftermarket ones on a previous car which were also tinted just like the factory ones only difference is after a year or 2 the aftermarket ones started to go purple like cheap window tint.

Yeah!I would have to go the slim line ones. At least until I gave up smoking due to hitting them with the butt when flicking the ash. :

How much do Ford charge for them please?

I think it is about $60 or so for the set.
You may find them cheaper somewhere as they are no longer current stock.
If in Adelaide go see stillwell in Regency park. Big spares store. Have been good to me on prices, and generally get stuff at trade or less.
