Hi i have a 2007 LX Focus done 27,000km wanted to clean the throttle body i brought Nulon Throttle Body Cleaner it states avoid direct contact with electronic devices such as idle speed controls and throttle controls. It may be necessary to remove these components for correct cleaning a bit unknown to me :alien2: Do i need to do this?
My question is what is the best way to clean it and if i just spray inside the throttle body do i need to do anything else. Thx in advance |

I'm not an expert on later model Focus', but I have to ask the question...
...why are you trying to clean the throttle body on a less than 3 yo Focus???? I know earlier models have a coating that you should specifically not clean.....so I'd proceed with caution on this one
