Default Having your tongue removed is no laughing matter.

Seen this in my local paper last night...........
Have to share this one......

http://brimbank-leader.whereilive.co...t-your-tongue/

KEILOR Downs police know having your tongue removed is no laughing matter.
Constable Rifat Gedik said police recovered 38 towbar “tongues” - the part of the towbar that sticks out from the vehicle - after a man was arrested at Watergardens shopping centre last month.
Constable Gedik said the tongues cost about $100 to replace and police were keen to return them to their owners.
He said 10 of the 38 tongues had already been returned, but appealed to Brimbank drivers to check their vehicles to see if they were victims.
“Most people wouldn’t notice it (was missing) until they go to use it,” Constable Gedik said.
He said there were “certain indentations and grooves” on the towbar tongues that meant they could be matched up to the cars they had been taken from.
A 28-year-old Taylors Hill man has been charged in connection with the alleged theft.
If you are missing a towbar tongue, contact Constable Gedik or Leading Sen-Constable Chris Van Buuren at Keilor Downs on 9365 3333.

You would be surprised.

On the XF Wagon, 'The Tractor', back when the Motor Show was held at the Exhibition Building (not Jeff's Shed), we parked the car and went to the show. Upon returning, we noticed that the front quarter panel's indicator covers were removed...they surely would not be worth jack?

Before that incident, the car was parked in St Albans. Somebody stole our petrol cap. The XF caps were not locking. We had a lockable one afterwards though. What would a petrol cap be worth though?

The world is an interesting place.

Someone stole just the ball off my ute and they are worth stuff all too :. They left the tongue which would of been a lot easier to remove then the ball. And my brother had the spare wheel stolen from under his tray, not a fancy rim, just a plain 14" steel wheel with a crappy tyre.

I was a caretaker of a community hall for a short period of time that had bingo games there.

You know the "lolly" deodorants at the bottom of a urinal? Well I would put some of those on the window sills of the ladies room. The old ladies would steal them. The scent was "tuitifruity”

Just shows what people will steal

How on earth did he take them off so quickly that no body noticed! Tried to take mine off with an adjustable spanner the bolt wouldn't budge.

Maybe he was carrying a can of WD 40 with him?
